Het Utrechts Archief beschikt over de grootste collectie boeken, kranten en tijdschriften van de geschiedenis van de stad en provincie Utrecht. 

Wat heb ik nodig om een item in te zien?

U kunt onze boeken, kranten en tijdschriften alleen raadplegen in onze studiezaal. Daarvoor heeft u het aanvraagnummer van een item uit de bibliotheekcatalogus nodig. U vindt dit nummer direct bovenaan de beschrijving na 'aanvraagnummer'. 

In onze studiezaal kunt u ter plekke een aanvraag doen. 

Door leestekens in uw zoekopdracht te gebruiken, zoekt u specifieker of juist breder:

  • Gebruik een vraagteken (?) om één letter te vervangen.
  • Gebruik een sterretje (*) om meer letters te vervangen.
  • Gebruik een dollarteken ($) voor uw zoekterm voor resultaten die op elkaar lijken.
  • Gebruik een minteken (-) om zoektermen uit te sluiten.
  • Gebruik een Dubbele aanhalingstekens (" ") aan het begin en einde van uw zoektermen om naar de exacte combinatie van woirden te zoeken.
